LakeRidge Golf Course
LakeRidge Golf Course is an exceptional blend of challenges, aesthetics, strategy and fun. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., LakeRidge Golf Course has been named Reno’s best golf course by Golf Week Magazine (March 2004). At just a little over 6,700 yards from the championship tees, the course sets up to offer tremendous challenges to a shotmaker’s skill. From the regular tees, with a length of 6,140 yards, the challenges and fun still exist in a more attainable form.
Facilities
An 18-hole championship golf course with a putting green, chipping green and driving range. One of Reno’s premier restaurants, the 19th Hole, offers breakfast, lunch and catering for any type of special event. In addition to the outstanding food, the 19th Hole Restaurant offers spectacular views of downtown Reno.
Signature Hole
#15, a par 3, features a tee shot from a hillside tee box 140 feet above the water to a true island! From this tee, this shot is 239 yards but plays about 195 yards to the middle of the green without wind, but in windy conditions care must be taken at both the tee and the green. Lower and closer tees also are available.

Fun layout that demands some precision off the tee. Try to stay below the hole on the fast, sloping greens. The island green par 3 is a blast since it's so far below the tee boxes. Ball stays in the air for a long time and you may only hear a distant thud or splash on this hole.

This is a fantastic course! The layout is not all that tough, but it is very enjoyable to play. The 15th hole is worth the price of admission by itself, but the other 17 holes each have something to offer as well. I will definately play this course every time I make it to the Reno area.

Lakeridge was amazing! I have memberships to Brentwood, Wilshire and Los Angeles COuntry Clubs and this definetly rivals them i nevery aspect! The fifteenth was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and courteous. The golf shop was superflous in there actions and their jovial demeanor was refreshing in spirit. Thank you Lakeridge, you truly are a gem in the desert.
