edgewood tahoe Set along the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, designed by George Fazio with recent renovations by Tom Fazio, Edgewood has been rated by Golf Digest magazine as one of the countries top courses. The golf course has played host to a variety of major golf events. In 1980, the US Public Links Championship came to Lake Tahoe and was the first USGA event hosted in the state of Nevada. The USGA returned to Edgewood in 1985 for U.S. Senior Open seeing Miller Barber be the only player to break par for the week. The American Junior Golf Association’s Lake Tahoe Classic hosted future stars including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and John Daly.

Since 1990 Edgewood has been the annual home of the Celebrity Golf Championship. The annual nationally televised event features some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. Michael Jordan, John Elway, Donald Trump, Charles Barkley, Mario Lemuix, Jack Wagner, Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith are just a few of the names that have played in this event.

Recent changes allowing carts off the cart paths along with a new dash mount GPS system has made a round at Edgewood Tahoe even more enjoyable than ever before.
