Grizzly Ranch Golf Club

Grizzly Ranch provides true mountain golf taken to an exhilarating level. The course was designed by Bob Cupp, the winner of 11 Best New Course awards and the creator of Oregon's Pumpkin Ridge and the Crosswater course at Sunriver. The natural aspects of the golf course, with long, gentle rolling slopes, stately ponderosa pines, incredibly beautiful native wetlands (all permanently preserved) and spectacular views of often snow-capped mountains, make Grizzly Ranch a visual wonder. Golf holes of outstanding strategic value wind their way through the pine-walled valleys, seeming always to aim at some distant majestic peak. Views of the High Sierra grace nearly every hole. The 18-hold course snuggles perfectly into the heavily forested mountainside providing abundant club selection and shot variety, intriguing elevation changes, but none of the usual steep holes encountered on other mountain courses. This 7,407 yard, Par 72 course gives golfers of all ages and skill levels equal measures of challenge and enjoyment.

Accessibility
Grizzly Ranch is a private club that is allotting a very limited number of tee times for each week of the 2007 season. Reservations can be made for the entire season as of February 1, 2007.

Location/Driving Directions
From Reno - Take 395 North, turn off at exit 8 - Hwy 70 at Hallelujah Junction. Turn left and head west on Hwy 70. Turn right onto Grizzly Road - 1.7 miles.

From Truckee - Turn off at Exit 188b onto Hwy 89 North. Turn left at only Sierraville light to Sattley. Turn right in Sattley onto Hwy A23. Turn left onto Hwy 70 West. Turn right onto Grizzly Road - 1.7 mi.
