Dayton Valley Golf & Country Club
Dayton, NV
Our Arnold Palmer designed golf course has always been the hallmark of the golf experience at the Dayton Valley Golf and Country Club that opened in 1991 and is recognized as one of the premier courses in the Reno-Lake Tahoe area.
Dayton Valley has hosted PGA Tour Qualifying since 1995. 2009 marks the 15th anniversary of the PGA Tour Qualifying in Dayton, the longest consecutive stint for any course in the country, attesting to its superb and consistent conditions.
A 15,000 square foot clubhouse facility that offers a wide range of services and amenities has also become a focal point of the expansive complex. The clubhouse features a restaurant, large bar and grill area, outdoor patio and plaza, special banquet rooms, full service golf shop, locker rooms, lobby and offices. The facility offers lunch daily and is the perfect setting to enjoy a favorite beverage with sensational mountain views or the sunset as a backdrop to the 9th and 18th greens. In 2008, the state-of-the-art Legado Recreation & Fitness Center opened near the driving range offering a wide variety of exercise and leisure activities.
Dayton Valley is rated 4 stars in “Places to Play” by Golf Digest in 2008/2009.

Top Things to Do on Your Trip
1. Take a trip back in time and into the nearby historic Comstock District. Wind your way up the hill to Virginia City with Silver City and Gold Hill along the way. Cowboy-up as you visit the shops and sights along the wooden sidewalks of Main Street.
2. Journey east on Highway 50 to Fort Churchill State Park, a once active U.S. Army fort built in 1861. Browse through the Visitor’s Center that houses informational displays and artifacts of the fort’s history and the Pony Express that once passed through the area.
